PROJECT #1
THE PROBLEM
This project was in a very awkward location that was in a very tight area with other mill activities nearby. Area traffic was a big issue and needed to be managed to do this very quickly. The tank itself was corroded to a degree that replacement was unavoidable and needed as soon as possible.
THE SOLUTION
We built the tank at our shop and transported it during the mill shut down. Our team removed the screw with a crane, then placed the existing screw into the new tank, sealed it and completed the job in a very short amount of time.
RESULT
We accommodated the replacement quickly, accurately and smoothly despite space limitations.

PROJECT #2
THE PROBLEM
The customer wanted a tank replaced in a very short time frame.
THE SOLUTION
We built the tank in our shop and transported it to the facility. Our field services team, after disconnecting the old tank from its base & all piping, lifted the old tank with jacks. We then installed tracks under the tank, set the tank on skids and simply rolled it to a better position to fully lift the tank out of its home with our crane. We set the new tank on the existing skids and rolled it into place, removing the skids and reconnecting the new tank into place.
RESULT
By building the tank off-site and expediting installation, the facility was only down for a few short days.
